This four-night, three-day trip starts at the headwaters of the Green River
near Pinedale, Wyoming and ending in Dutch John, Utah on the Green River
below Flaming Gorge.

With the 3 sections that we have chosen to float, it
should give a taste for how much the Green River has to offer. We have
teamed up with several well-known outfitters in order to make a trip like this
come together.

THE UPPER GREEN
Thursday, September 8 -9th
This Trip starts at the base of the Wind Rivers, in the sleepy little town of Pinedale, Wyoming. We
will stay at the Lakeside Lodge surrounded by wilderness and water.
We will spend the first night at Lakeside Lodge and fish the next morning on the upper reaches of
the Green River. The upper Green River is a free stone and runs out of the Wind River Range,
because of this it has the most sensitive fishing condition, too hot, too cold, high water and no water
are a few things that can cause problems for fish and fisherman.
We have chosen September because of its consistent fishing and some of the best dry fly
opportunities of the season

MIDDLE GREEN, AKA SEEDSKADEE
Saturday, September 10th
Seedskadee is known for LARGE fish. It has a unique and lovely western landscape. This slow
meandering river has structure, which hides fish that everyone dreams about. This section of the
Green River is in a very remote part of Wyoming; because of this there is no lodging. Therefore, we
will be driving down from Lakeside Lodge in Pinedale on the morning of the 10th to meet our
guides.

THE GREEN RIVER BELOW FLAMING GORGE
Sunday, September 11th
This section is known to have some of the largest fish counts per mile of any river in the world and
is the most famous and well-known section of the Green River. Its sandstone canyons and emerald
water sets the stage for this lovely trout stream. We’ll rack up some river miles this day, so we’ll
send you home good and tired. We will be floating both the A and B sections, almost 16 miles of the
World’s Best Dry Fly Fishing.
